Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 30th January 2017

Centenary Launch Evening
The official launch of Latton O’Rahilly G.A.A. Club Centenary year programme will take place on Friday next,3rd.February. 2017 will be a year to commemorate and celebrate the Latton O’Rahilly Club in the Latton/Bawn Community,in the lives of all who have played,participated,administered,coached,organised and supported Gaelic Football,Hurling,Ladies Football,Camogie,Scor and Culture,Handball and Rounders in the Latton/Bawn area over the past 100 years. In this Century the Club has being at the heart of life in the parish,the frienships,memories,positivety and contribution to healthy living,the excellences of the facilities at O’Rahilly Park and Complex,available for use by all in the Community,will be honoured over the coming months in the extensive programme to be launched on Friday evening next.We will be commencing with a mass of thanksgiving in St.Mary’s Church,Latton at 8pm,everyone is invited to attend,followed by the Official Launch in the G.A.A. Centre,entertainment,memrobelia on display and refreshments reserved.
Sincere Sympathies
We would like to extend our Sincere sympathies to the Mc Geough Family on the Sudden passing of Barney Mc Geough, Kilkitt, Shantonagh, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan.
We further extend our condolences to the Moynagh Family on the passing of Hannah in her 94th year. This Lovely friendly and Jolly Lady was the oldest resident of our Parish and she will be sadly missed
May their gentle souls rest in peace. Ar deis Dé go raibh a hanam.

Good luck to Monaghan Senior County Squad as they commence their campaign this Saturday evening away to Mayo in Castlebar .We wish them well in the upcoming league Campaign and special good wishes to our players representing their Club at County Level Kieran Duffy,Owen Duffy,Owen Coyle & Stephen Mc Cabe.
