Latton GAA Club Club Notes – Week Beginning 25th April 2022
LOTTO
Lotto draw was held online on Monday 25th April 2022.
The numbers drawn were 1 11 22 24 . There was no Jackpot winner . Our 3 Lucky dip winners were Pauline McEntee,Joanne Coyle & Eilish Markey .
Next week jackpot now stands at €6,800.
Congratulations to Daire Quinn who won our ” Chocolate Overload” Hamper on Easter Monday. Further bonus draws will take place in the coming weeks.
Tain Og
A beautiful evening last Monday for our home Táin Óg fixture against St Patricks Lisbellaw Hurling Club . A great competitive game between 2 well matched sides . Goals at crucial times for Latton O’Rahilly GAA Club seen them run out winners on a score line of Latton O’Rahilly GAA Club 3-02 -Lisbellaw 1-06.
Well done to Tomas McCabe , Liam Clarke , Michael McCcabe and Tadgh O’Brien who were part of the U15 Hurling development squad last weekend.
U15’s
Our U15’s are away against Sean McDermott’s this evening at 7.30pm.
U17’s
Well done to our U17’s with great performance and win last Tuesday 19th April by the smallest of Margin 2-11 v’s 2-10.
Senior Hurling
A good win at home last Thursday for our senior hurlers against Cuchulainn an Ghleanna winning out on a scoreline of Latton 4.-07 – Cuchulainn an Ghleanna 2.06. Well done to our representatives with the County team last Sunday ..Ryan Andrews & Daire& Cian Dillon.
Reserves Div 3
Our reserves played a strong Castleblayney side last Friday evening but were defeated on the day.
Reserve Div 1A
We have home fixture v Donaghmoyne on Friday 29th April at 7.30pm.
U13’s
Good luck to our team’ s out in the Spring League this weekend.
Senior League
The Loughman Sports Sponsored Senior League commenced last Sunday for Latton with an away trip to Scotstown. A close encounter decided in the final minutes with a converted penalty with Latton O’Rahilly GAA Club running out winners on a final score line of Latton O’Rahilly GAA Club 1-07 – Scotstown 0-07.
National Club Draw
Tickets for our National Club Draw 2022 are now available. The proceeds from all tickets sold remain within the club to assist with the upkeep of our facilities which everyone greatly supported in previous years. Tickets will be on sale at all trainings this week €10 each or books of 5 €50 or by contacting Camilla 0861633508 or any committee member. Your support as always is greatly appreciated.
